Love the atmosphere and the workers!!! Once you get to know the workers they’re all very kind. The food is delicious and very high quality! Love this place, and I tend to go a lot

First time here and we were less than impressed. The food tasted good but was barely warm. Then, we were rushed out. The waitress brought the bill and literally stood there until my husband pulled his card out to pay. I didn’t even get to finish eating before she brought me a box and a bag to take it home. To top it off, after we paid, we were wondering why our bill was so much. They added a 20% gratuity automatically ($20) when no where in the restaurant did it say that would happen or we wouldn’t have even stepped inside. The food and the service was below par and definitely NOT worth a $20 tip. We will not be returning.

The atmosphere is very inviting. I had the chance to watch the Seahawks and Cowboys game in the bar while my wife and I enjoyed Sushi. We also love the hot and sour soup, the egg flower soup, and the appetizer plate. The owner truly cares about making sure you are satisfied. We recommend, been coming here for years.

The staff is very attentive and friendly. I was seated right away and ordered quickly, as I was on my lunch hour. The miso soup was kind of bland, but the beef and broccoli and sushi were wonderful. It wasn’t very crowded, but they seat people right next to each other, with plenty of empty seats around. Also, some employees were playing games on their phones, at full volume, right behind me. Good decor and menu. I will try again.

Underwhelmed This was our first time trying Eastland Sushi & Asian cuisine. We had been told by a trusted friend here in Vancouver that the sushi here is excellent. He was correct about that, the sashimi I had was very very good, and the portions were larger than I expected. But the rest of our experience was subpar - One of the side dishes I ordered was overlooked/never arrived (our server did come to our table during the meal and told us about the oversight, but I opted to pass on the side dish, since we were almost done). Our server was not very pleasant, and seemed short with us or irritated about something. We were not made to feel welcome at all. Perhaps she was having a bad shift that day, or something else was going on. We may try them a 2nd time - hopefully this was a one-off experience and we will have a better experience next time.

Thank goodness the Tempura was on point! 😀 our servers were very nice. Heads-up the bill has a 20% tip charge! For a party of 2 *The menus need to be wiped cleaned along with the sauce bottles on the table.

Two of us sat at sushi bar. Great service. Super fun to watch chefs create the sushi orders. We enjoyed the Yummy roll and Shadow roll, both delicious, super flavorful! Highly recommend this place!

We arrived within 20 minutes of closing and were welcomed enthusiastically. The vegetable curry dish was delicious and the staff let us continue to chat and enjoy our meal while they were closing up. Eastland has been there for quite a while, so if you have never been, add it to your list for delicious, competitively priced Asian cuisine!
